Our Story
A place where you can talk openly without feeling judged or pressured.
How It Started
Friendly Minds started with a simple idea: people should have a place where they can talk openly without feeling judged or pressured.
We're a group of young adults from different backgrounds who met online and realised how important it is to have spaces where you can just be honest about how you're feeling. Not everything needs to be formal or clinical, sometimes you just need someone to listen.
That's what Friendly Minds is about.
Our Vision
We're building a space for peer-to-peer support, where conversations feel natural and real. The people you speak to aren't professionals, they're individuals giving their time to listen, support, and connect. No pressure, no expectations, just a space to talk.
At the same time, we take safety seriously. Behind the scenes, we're putting a lot of focus into safeguarding, privacy, and making sure everything runs in a responsible and respectful way.
We're not a crisis service, and we're not here to replace professional support. But if you're looking for somewhere to talk, feel heard, or just not feel alone for a bit, that's where we come in.
Support FriendlyMinds
Friendly Minds is a volunteer-led project, which means everything you see is built and run by people giving their time to make something positive.
If you'd like to support what we're building, you can make a small donation to help cover things like website costs, development, and keeping the platform running.
There's absolutely no pressure, the platform is free to use, and always will be. But if you believe in what we're doing and want to help us grow, we really appreciate it.
